Hello !

I am Danny Shafrir, an experienced ultra-endurance cyclist and route designer. My passion for adventure brought me to Galicia, attracted by its green and wild landscape.

At Ourense en Bici we believe that cycling transforms landscapes into stories, where each turn becomes a chapter in a life of adventures.

On two wheels, the boundaries of our limitations blur and the horizon ahead becomes a path of beauty and possibilities.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of cycling through various regions around the world, from Vietnam and Cambodia to California. I have participated in challenges such as the Transcontinental Race across Europe and completed a bike trip from Seattle, USA to Oaxaca, Mexico via the Baja Divide.

I have extensive experience designing engaging routes on my own adventures and while working for the social adventure route creation app Komoot.

I have been living in Ourense, Galicia since 2020 and have had the privilege of exploring hidden historic trails and mountain roads, giving me an intimate local perspective that I want to share with you and the wider adventure community.
